David W. Johnson, DDS - Orthodontist
Dr. Johnson is a Bay Area native who attended high school on the Peninsula then headed to U.C. Davis for his undergraduate studies. After completing his degree in Biochemistry, he went on to attend dental school, graduate school and his post-graduate residency in orthodontics at U.C. San Francisco.Dr. Johnson has loved his more than 25 years of practicing orthodontics and now splits his professional time between seeing patients in the Alameda office and teaching part time at U.C.S.F. in the orthodontics department.
Dr. Johnson has lived in Alameda for many years and raised his family here. During his free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his 3 young adult children and activities with his friends including movies and great food. For fun each fall, he makes what he calls "garage wine" with a couple of close friends. When he can, he sneaks away for long bicycle rides with his cycling buddies, having completed many 100 & 200 mile journeys. He has even traveled from Oregon to San Francisco on a 6-day bike trip and across California from the height of the Sierras to the Pacific Ocean over 7 days.
